Computer Lessons Doncaster Primary School

COMPUTER LESSONS AT DONCASTER PRIMARY SCHOOL

Several members of our club have availed themselves of the weekly computer lessons given by pupils in Grades 5 and 6 at Doncaster Primary School.

The topics so far covered are:

1. Creating and saving files.

2. Producing notices or flyers with different fonts, colours, borders or with pictures attached.

3. Discovering “YouTube” with its many and various topics.

The children are patient and so eager to show us how to do the tasks. All tutoring is one on one.

It is a 2 way street. Dylan, my grade 6 student, told me that “The adults learn computer skills and the students learn that you can’t judge a book by its cover.”

There will be more half hour sessions next term. If you would like to join the group please get in touch with Bob Jones. ----it is well worth it!!
